Well, here it is, just one of the ways you can keep an eye on all my adventures out here in the wild, wild west (where, the most wild things are the wind and the parties)
Although, Parties really shouldn't be an issue... right?
So, here's the low-down for anyone who's not totally up to date on my current situation.
School sucks.
As in, MAJORLY.
Plus, my awesome major (Classical Drama & Literature) was amazing, but sadly, not exactly what I wanted to do.
So I'm taking some time off to work and re-assess.
And I'm doing all this out in Jasper, Alberta. A sleepy little town with a lot of character and one of the most beautiful hotel/resorts I've ever seen! (okay, the Cairo Marriott was pretty damn awesome, but the FJPL has its own rustic charm)
So, I'm currently living on the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge property in their staff accommodation, working as a Housekeeper/Room Attendent. And no, it really doesn't suck as much as you think. Plus, the pay is awesome and there are lots of hours to go around.
I don't know how long I'll be here (at least a year) but I know I've been in love with the place since I arrived Saturday night....
But that's a story for the next blog, so i'll leave my intro here and let you gear up for post #2!!
